My name is Rachel Chaparro. I have known for quite sometime now that I wanted to teach. I knew I especially wanted to teach those who were adolescent in nature. So here I am. It was not always easy getting here though. After high school I started at Northeast Alabama Community College. Then I went to Athens State University. Life is very interesting, and things can get rocky! That is why I think I love adventure so much. My entire life is an adventure. You could say my middle name was Adventure... Rachel Adventure Chaparro! No? Well anyways I have always had big dreams and a lot of hope!

 

Speaking of hope. I hope this website becomes a very useful tool for both my students and parents this year! I hope this website is a place of refuge. A place where the lost can be found. It puts a smile on my face knowing that there is a place for you to go when you do not know the answer. I have placed many informative resources all over this website! Including how to contact me personally. I am always looking for opportunities to talk to my students and parents so feel free to contact me. I am also open for in-person meetings during my planning period, which is 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. or after schools hours from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15.pm on approved days.
